Warm Apples with Cinnamon
Looking for an easy, yet nutritious fall recipe? Warm apples with cinnamon is the perfect dish to satisfy the craving! This recipe features apple, which contains vitamin C, potassium and fiber. Due to the high fiber content in this recipe, this is a great snack/dessert for kids struggling with constipation.
The great thing about this Warm Apples with Cinnamon is that it is customizable! Don’t have apples or hand? Try it with pears! You can add a variety of nuts, seeds on top to give it a crunch too. Feel free to adjust according to your child’s sensory preferences and nutritional needs.
Ingredients
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
2 Apples (cored and sliced)
1 tsp Cinnamon (can sub for Pumpkin Spice, too!)

Directions
In a pan, melt coconut oil over medium heat.
Add apple slices and sauté until soft, about 5 to 8 minutes.
Sprinkle cinnamon over top and stir to coat evenly.
Divide into bowls and enjoy!

Serve it With
Ice cream, with granola or on top of oatmeal.
No Apples? Use pears instead.
